Ashfields Care Home in Macclesfield

Background:

Ashfields Care Home in Macclesfield had 82% occupancy (32 beds out of 39), dropping every so often to 65% occupancy (25 beds).

The home was only getting 1.5 enquiries per month (local authority and private), has a significant number of competitors, and had never embarked on a digital marketing strategy, particularly to attract private enquiries.

Together with the home we drew up a strategy to:

  • Help drive enquiries through targeted digital marketing
  • Implement enhanced tracking to understand cost per enquiry via digital marketing.
  • Create an e-shot database and distribute a bi-monthly e-newsletters to VIPs and stakeholders in and around Macclesfield.

Results:

Within 6 months:
– the home was full, forecasting a £290,160  annual revenue gain
– was getting 240% more enquiries
– 38% of all enquiries attributed to digital marketing.
